Scholastic Book Fair ~ Monday, May
5th through Sunday, May 11th ~ 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. –
Guess who's back? It's Clifford the Big Red
Dog! The Children's Museum of Cleveland is holding its 2nd Scholastic
Book Fair featuring special appearances by Clifford the Big Red Dog and
Clifford themed crafts. The fair will have a variety of books, most
aimed at pre-school through 3rd grade, and plenty of gift selections for
Mom. (Admission is not required to shop at the book fair but regular
paid admission or Museum membership is required to enjoy the Museum and
meet Clifford.)
Clifford's Open Art Studio ~ 11:00
a.m. ~ Explore textures, colors and different ways to make art. Projects
may include painting, collage, sculpture, stencils and more!
Creative Movements with Clifford ~ 1:00
p.m. ~ Move, groove, rock & roll
to music. Yoga, dance and drums are just some of the ways we’ll get our
bodies busy!
Great Artists: Suiboku Scrolls
~ 3:30 p.m. ~ This month we explore “Asian Art.” Come with us as we explore and
learn about the different art forms, techniques
and materials associated with Asian Art (and then create a work of art
of your own
before you leave!).
