GROUP TOUR

GENERAL INFORMATION

When calling to schedule a group tour we will need the following information:

• Name of your school/organization

• Contact Name

• Address of school/organization – city, state, zip code

• School/organization phone number and fax number

• Ages of children, number of children

• Several possible dates and times for your visit (please check your transportation department before calling)

• Any special needs of your group

No later than 2 weeks after the date of invoice:

• Return signed copies of Group Tour Invoice and Group Visit Policies

• Enclose non-refundable deposit with Invoice and Policies

When you arrive:

• Please ask your children to remain on the bus until we have the chance to greet and welcome you

• The lead teacher will be asked to check in.  At this time we need an accurate attendance count (adults and children)

• We will finalize all the financial arrangements

Fees:

• Cost is $6.00 per child

• Adults/chaperones, up to the number of paying children are admitted free. Additional adults are $6.00 each

• A minimum charge of $72.00 per group tour (12-child minimum)

Chaperones:

• A minimum adult/child ratio of 1:5 is required

• A ratio of 1:3 is highly recommended

Teachers and chaperones are responsible for the behavior and safety of their students.  Adults are expected to remain with their students at all times during the field trip experience.  You and your organization are responsible for ensuring participants abide by all the rules and regulations of The Children’s Museum of Cleveland.

Payment Policy:

• A non-refundable deposit, equal to 50% of invoiced amount is required to reserve a time slot and is due at the Museum two weeks after date of invoice.  Remainder of payment due the day of your visit.

• Tours may be paid with check, cash, or credit card

Directions:

• The Children’s Museum of Cleveland is located in University Circle at 10730 Euclid Avenue., on the corner of Euclid Avenue, Chester Avenue and Stearns Road.  Further directions upon request.

Elf Corner:

• If your group wishes to visit the ELF CORNER Museum Store, arrangements must be made prior to your visit.  The Museum Store permits only 5 children at a time with an accompanying adult.

Cancellations:

• Cancellations must be made no later than the day prior to your scheduled visit.  If necessary, reservations may be rescheduled, subject to availability. 

• A fee of $45.00 will be assessed for “No Shows”

Parking and Busses:

• Parking is available in our adjacent lot at no charge.

• There is limited bus parking on the side street in front of the Museum.  Our staff will direct drivers.

Late Arrivals:

• If your group arrives late, we will do our best to accommodate you as time permits.
